The Ethnomusicology / World Music program at
The Florida State University is the home to a large collection
of musical instruments, including multiples of the following
(categorized by country):

pandeiro, cuica, tamborim, gansa, reco-reco, agogo,
etc.

The Collection includes many more instruments, and it
continues to grow. This collection is not merely for
museum or preservation purposes: the majority of the
instruments are used daily in the World
Music Ensembles in the School of Music of The Florida
