ANNE
HODGES, Director for the graduate Arts Administration
program at Florida State University, previously
served as Director of Marketing, Public
Relations, and Education Programs for the
Cathedral Choral Society in Washington,
D.C. She has also served as Executive Director
for the Florida Music Educators Association.
During twelve years in the orchestra management
field, she has been General Manager of the
Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, Executive
Director of the Arlington Symphony, and
Executive Director of the Bedford Springs
Music Festival.
Dr.
Hodges earned the Doctor of Music degree
in voice performance from Florida State
University in 1992. She completed both the
Orchestra Management Seminar of the American
Symphony Orchestra League and Managing the
Arts, a seminar in Professional Management
Education through the School of Business
Administration at the University of North
Carolina. She earned the Master of Music
degree from West Virginia University Morgantown
and the Bachelor of Music degree from St.
Andrew¹s Presbyterian College.
Dr.
Hodges has served on the board of the Florida
Cultural Action and Education Alliance.
She has been an active member of the Community
Development Board for Tallahassee's public
radio stations, WFSQ-FM and WFSU-FM, and
is a frequent speaker, panelist, and consultant
for arts organizations.
